TEi discovered they had been awarded the Engineering Construction Industry Association's "Best" Award for Safety Initiative within a week of another major contract win.

TEi win another major Nuclear Power station Contract

TEi are delighted to announce a significant new Nuclear Power Station contract.

The work will involve the removal, refurbishment and replacement of 40,000 8 metre long, bi-metalic brass condenser tubes which is a unique situation in the UK consumer industry.

TEi wins DRAX Power Station Condenser Re-tube Contract

TEi Ltd have been awarded their largest ever contract for re-tubing three of the six main steam turbine condensers at Drax Power Station in Yorkshire.

Drax power Ltd is the largest coal fired power station in Europe (4,000MW capacity) with a fully operational flue gas desulpherisation (FGD) plant.

The contract involves the supply, removal and replacement of 60,000 25.4mm diameter 21m long cupro / nickel condenser tubes... 20,000 in each condenser.

1st Year Updates

"We are pleased to announce that TEi Ltd has successfully completed their 1st year of trading under the new management team. On 15th October 2004, TEi Limited was acquired by SES Holdings. The business continued with all staff as previously employed under Thermal Engineering and incorporates all aspects of Site Services, Yimpact Heat Exchanger Services, Metallurgical, Technical and Spares Services.
